Conservatives for a Clean Energy Future Names 2024 Clean Energy Champions

State leaders honored for commitment to clean energy future

USA – Conservatives for a Clean Energy Future (CCEF), a national nonprofit advancing state-based clean energy policy solutions, has announced its 2024 Clean Energy Champion honorees. CCEF advocates for competitive, market-oriented energy policies that help states transition to a clean energy future.


Now in its fifth year, the Clean Energy Champion program highlights local, state and federal policymakers across the country who consistently support conservative policy initiatives that promote clean energy, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.


This year’s Champions include:


  • Weld County Commissioner Lori Saine, Colorado

  • State Representative Beth Camp, Georgia

  • United States Senator Mike Braun, Indiana

  • Congressman Brett Guthrie, KY-2, Kentucky

  • State Representative Joseph A. Orgeron, Louisiana

  • State Representative Brett Geymann, Louisiana

  • County Commissioner Steve Vaughan, Michigan

  • Governor Joe Lombardo, Nevada

  • U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte, New Hampshire

  • State Representative Kyle Hall, North Carolina

  • State Senator Matt Dolan, Ohio

  • State Representative Sharon Ray, Ohio

  • State Representative Jim Hoops, Ohio

  • State Senator Gene Yaw, Pennsylvania

  • Congressman Jeff Duncan , SC-3, South Carolina

  • State Representative Jason Elliott, South Carolina

  • State Senator Sean Bennett, South Carolina

  • State Representative Candidate Blake Sanders, South Carolina
